Rental Rates
ALL RENTALS ARE SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE VISION, MISSION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE EASTERN LABRADOR ARTS ALLIANCE.

Effective June 1, 2017

All fees include 15% HST except where indicated

RENTAL FEES:

Performances and Related Uses
  • includes technician, box office, janitorial services, ushers, house manager, ticket printing and theatre equipment/lighting

Greater of either a set percentage of ticket sales or established minimum amount:

  1. Professional Performance .............................................20% + HST vs $850 + HST
  2. Local Performance ...........................................................15% vs $450
  3. Student Performance with ticket sales ....................15% vs $210
  4. Student Performance without ticket sales ..............$105
  5. Local Charity Performance ............................................15% vs $300
  6. Foyer Performance ...........................................................15% vs $350
  7. Stage Only Performance ................................................15% vs $350
  8. Music Recital with ticket sales .......................................15% vs $210
  9. Music Recital without ticket sales ................................$105

Wish Fish Membership:
Wish Fish memberships will be sold for $1150 (HST included) to certain local non-profit groups. Memberships entitle user groups to building access for meetings and rehearsals. Availability is determined by outside bookings. Wish Fish member performances will be charged 25% of ticket sales for each show.

Note: All performances are at a maximum of 4 hours including set up and break down. Performances include a 2 hour sound check or a 3 hour dress rehearsal where required. Any time over the 4 hours (performance) and 2 or 3 hours (sound check / rehearsal) will be charged at $60 an hour. Performances also include film screenings and videos.


Non Performance Uses (Meetings, Conferences, Information Sessions, Receptions, etc)
Includes janitorial services, ushers, house manager, ticket printing and theatre equipment. If technicians are required a fee of $21 / hr per technician will be charged at the discretion of management.

  1. Commercial/Corporate:
    1. 1 hour - $65.00
    2. 4 hours - $250.00
    3. 8 hours - $500.00

  2. Local:
    1. 1 hour - $50.00
    2. 4 hours - $200.00
    3. 8 hours - $400.00

  3. Local Non-Profit:
    1. 1 hour - $40.00
    2. 4 hours - $150.00
    3. 8 hours - $300.00

  4. School Use: $30 per rehearsal

  5. Foyer only (Commercial):
    1. 1 hour - $35.00
    2. 4 hours - $140.00
    3. 8 hours - $275.00

  6. Foyer only:
    1. 1 hour - $30.00
    2. 4 hours - $120.00
    3. 8 hours - $240.00

  7. Weekly Rate: 5 to 7 consecutive days = full rate less 20%

OTHER FEES & SERVICES

Dance floor & other tapes - $30/roll
Dance floor assembly - $40
9V Batteries - $3.00 each
AA Batteries - $1.00 each
AAA Batteries - $1.00 each
Added Foyer Reception - $80
Sound/Lighting Technicians - $21/hr

Stage Set ups:
Chairs only - $50
Refreshment tables - $80
Café set up - $100

Note: Café set up includes tables, chairs, and platform staging.
