Friends of the Theatre
Arts organizations exist because there are people who realize how important the arts are to society. These people volunteer their time and talents to make things happen. The O'Brien Arts Centre would merely be a beautiful building if it were not for the people who breathe life into its space. These people are Friends of the Theatre and, since opening its doors in 2009, the O'Brien Arts Centre is proud to have hundreds of volunteers.

All volunteers at the O'Brien Arts Centre must sign up to become Friends of the Theatre and they are placed on teams who work in volunteer shifts in the following areas:

  • Ushers/Greeters
  • Coat Check
  • Technical

All teams have leaders who are members of the ELAA.
Technical Friends of the Theatre must have training approved by the Technician or the Manager.

If you wish to become a Friend of the Theatre please contact the manager, Matthew Barrett.
