MARK "The Canoe" HARNETT
Mark Harnett was born here 44 years ago and adopted by a family in Newfoundland.
He's returning to the land of his birth with his comedy show.
Mark's material comes to life from his own personal experiences and opinions, culture, political views, relationships, and being a dad. He's often labelled a "suggestive" comedian - witty, yet edgy - whose jokes and stories make some wonder if they should laugh or not. Mark likes to make his audience think, and sometimes feel uncomfortable, but they should always remember that it's OK to laugh, as life is too short to be taken seriously!
Tickets $21 - $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

A puppetry play about friendship, memory, and being all in it together. It tells the story of a young girl's heroic journey upriver to meet the feared protector of the river and forest. The story moves between present and past, and combines Bunraku style puppets with shadow puppetry.
The play was fully developed during a residency at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre.
Play by Tara Manuel
Artwork and shadow puppets by Michael Rigler
Directed by Michael Waller
Editing by Lou McDonald
With puppetry performances by Louise Gauthier, Adam Brake, and Tara Manuel
